A Feast for Crows
Jan. 24th, 2006 02:19 pmJust finished the fourth book in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. It was good, though it did seem, as many have said, as if we were only seeing half the story.
Also, there were more examples of the author's tendency to really sock it to favorite characters. This really frustrated my wife when she tried reading the series. In this case (just so you know, the chapters each focus on a particular character and their experiences) the last chapter for one character in this book ended with. "When [pronoun] woke the next morning, [pronoun] was blind."
How cruel is that?
That's one book for the year (aside from comics & manga). Next up is Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys
