Maybe it's "dork".

Anyway.. after some brief power outages earlier this evening, I gave

darkwingjhu a call and he helped guide my less than nimble hands nd brain through the process of upgrading my RAM from a mere 512 MB to 2 Full GB. Afterwards I logged onto City of Heroes and it was friggin glorious. No more 3 minute load times for me baby. I had an 8 second login onto the most popular server into a high demand zone.

So, special thanks to my lovely wife who facilitated it, to my Dad who funded it, to

darkwingjhu for the purchase suggestions and help desk call, and

iridium_wolf who happily put up with the ugliest super hero costume in the history of man.

Matt turned two over the weekend. He's his own boy now, and he is all boy, and that sometimes reawakens the boy in his father.

One of the things he received from his grandmother and aunt are a Geotrax train and some of the additional pieces. Essentially it's model trains for toddlers, but these things are friggin awesome.

So I'm sitting here watching Gilmore Girls and messing with different track configurations to figure out the way I think it looks best.
