Jan. 12th, 2006 08:44 amSo yesterday my wife and I shared the last of our Christmas presents to each other. We went to New York and saw Monty Python's Spamalot.
One word: Hilarious
While both Tim Curry (Arthur) and the original Lady of the Lake had left the cast, it was still a spectacular romp. It wasn't perfect, by any stretch. The Camelot number went too long and they stretched a bit to include some non-Holy Grail bits that didn't really need to be added.
That said, both Hank Azaria (Lancelot among others) and David Hyde Pierce (Robin among others) were hilariously funny. Lauren Kennedy (Lady of the Lake) was a riot. If you've got the time and cash to spare. I highly recommend it.
