I'm going to buy Torchwood Season 2 on DVD and then my completeness tendency will make me buy Season 1.

Date: 2008-02-19 04:33 pm (UTC)Concerning the first question, I buy the Doctor Who seasons as they come, since they tend to be pretty pretty heavily laden with special features and the like. Plus the BBC tends to not do mega-huge compilations of 13 episode series. Not saying it'll never happen, but I doubt it in the near future. Maybe if they do a Blu Ray version they might.
The first season of Torchwood is, at best, uneven. Clearly the showrunner/head writer (who's not the same person on Doctor Who) didn't really know what he was doing then. He seems to have learned for second season.
