What we did wrong
Mar. 28th, 2008 12:34 amSo tonight we (
black_op,
yerbrainondrugs,
elengul and I) played Betrayal at the House on the Hill
It's a very good, perhaps great, game. But I only played it once.
Anyway, we did a couple (more) things wrong according to the errata I stumbled across while trying to find out how much it costs.
1) Apparently explorers only get the benefit of the buffing rooms (e.g. the larder) once.
2) Monsters (other than transformed explorers) never get the benefits at all.
Good to note for next time
We played another game, a spaceship combat card game that was a cross between Lunch Money and Car Wars: The Card Game with art by the Munchkin guy, which was also good, but I can't recall the name. If you could remind me
yerbrainondrugs, I'd appreciate it.
UPDATE: The first game has been out for four years and it's already out the print? WTE(xpletive)!
yerbrainondrugs, would be willing to let me borrow it on occasion? :)
