I don't know why I find it funny..
Aug. 23rd, 2006 07:41 amA local cable company's pay-per view service (calling it CoD) has these radio commercials in our area featuring Mr. T. Well actually it's more like a prank phone call with someone having a Mr. T doll with seven different phrases. I can't remember the exact set-up but it's basically
*Ring*
Person) Hello?
Mr. T) Quit your jibber-jabber!
Person) Is this Mr. T?
Mr. T) I know it's hard to believe, but it's true.
Person) Yeah, I've seen you on TV doing commercials for CoD
Mr. T) I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. (with the exact same tone and pronounciation as the above line)
Person) Well yeah (spiel about how person did't realize CoD is so awesome or whatever)
Mr. T) Do you live in a cave?
Person) What?
Mr. T) Where are you from, Loserville?
Person) No it's just that I didn't realize CoD-
Mr. T) Quit your jibber-jabber! (same as from earlier)
Person) Is this really Mr. T?
Mr. T) Quit your flibber-flabber!
Person) This isn't Mr. T
*Dial Tone*
I don't know why I find this hilarious, but I do
