Uh-oh..

We had finished giving Matt his lunch and were in the process of eating our own. He was down on the floor mucking about and had gotten under the table.

Eventually he stopped wandering around and had stopped at one corner.

He was unscrewing the nut from the bolt that attached the leg to the table.
Matthew has this habit of stretching his arms forward when he walks. He'll then bend his hands outward at the wrist giving him alternatively a pleading or philosophical look.

We've been walking to the grocery store which is about four tenths of a mile away more frequently since gas climbed over $3.00 a gallon. It's good for our health, anyway.

Well it would be if we didn't stop at the ice cream shop in the shopping center.

Today, Matthew walked a great portion of that way back while pushing the stroller. My wife provided some steering assistance but Matthew did most of the actual pushing. He'd occaisionally switch to pushing one handed though and would hold his other out in this philosophical fashion, as if to ask this post's title.
