Another visit to the Pediatrician
Nov. 15th, 2004 12:29 pmWell I'll be honest. Matthew has only improved slightly over the past few days. He's generally grumpy and uncomfortable most of the time. It's not good. He's really unhappy when he's awake. You get at most an hour of time when he's not bothered for one reason or another. Largely because of his reflux.
So my wife took him to the Pediatrician this morning. The NP said he looked tired, and my wife told her that Matthew was looking pretty good for this time of morning. When the NP said he seems upset, my wife responded, again, that he'd been pretty content for the past half hour.
The NP said that this was not a good thing. So they've now put him on the medicine that they didn't want to earlier. We need to keep an eye out for side effects, blood in stool, diarrhea, constipation. Gee fun...
I didn't find out how much he weighed. Oops..
