jeffxandraSo Matthew's a fan of Word World a cute little show with a catchy theme song about a world where everything is made up of the letters that comprise it. i.e. a dog will have the letters D, O, and G make up its body.
Throughout the episode they'll take the time to address some point of language and inevitably, "Build a word." Well on Sunday my wife and I got to thinking about just how incredibly dangerous and powerful this could be. My wife wonders if there's some sort of Darwinian instinct that keeps them from building plague or black hole. Meanwhile, I noted that they had an episode demonstrating that adding an S to a word makes it plural. Can you imagine the arms race in Word World if war ever broke out?
